What insurance products does Oxford Life offer?
Oxford Life sells three different life insurance policies called Assurance, Assurance One, and Prosperity Select.
Assurance, the most affordable of the policies, is a generic burial or final expense insurance policy. Individuals between the ages of 50 and 85 can apply, and coverage ranges from $5,000 to $30,000.
No medical exam is required, but you do need to answer a medical questionnaire. Approval happens automatically during a point-of-sale interview.
Optional accelerated benefits include a terminal illness rider and a common carrier rider.
Assurance One policies work similarly to the Assurance policies, but you must be 55 or older, and you can pay only one premium instead of monthly or annually. Therefore, you remain covered without the burden of monthly payments.
The accelerated benefits offered include a terminal illness rider, nursing home rider, and chronic illness rider.
Prosperity Select is a single premium whole life insurance option. Folks between the ages of 55 and 85 can apply, and once again, you can pay the premium in full at one time.
If something happens to you, the policy passes the death benefit to your heirs tax-free. The accelerated benefits match that of the Assurance One policy.
Several annuity options designed to assist with retirement income also exist through Oxford Life.
Folks can choose from Royal Select, Silver Select, Select Series, or MultiSelect annuities. The issue age for all options is between 18 to 80.
The Silver Select option is a fixed indexed annuity, and you receive a 4 percent premium bonus when you deposit the funds. Royal Select, on the other hand, offers an 8 percent premium bonus.
The Select-Series is a low-risk, long-term investment option that gives you a choice of three, five, seven, or ten-year durations.
Multi-Select offers a more stable interest rate that the purchaser can choose. The return for this option is more predictable.

Oxford Life Insurance: The Bottom Line
If you’re over 50 years-old and require life insurance coverage, Oxford Life is a great company to add to your list for comparison shopping.
Not only does Oxford specialize in working with senior citizens, but most of the insurance products don’t even require a medical examination, only a questionnaire.
However, focusing on seniors means younger shoppers need to look elsewhere for coverage. People under 50 cannot buy Oxford Life insurance.
Another downside is that Oxford Life doesn’t sell insurance in every state and mostly focuses on the United States’ southern region.
Luckily, Oxford Life is just one of many life insurance providers on the market today. You can secure your best rates by comparing quotes from multiple providers online.
There’s no time like the present to start shopping for life insurance, perhaps Oxford life insurance or another option. Compare the best life insurance companies near you for free by entering your ZIP code into our quote tool below.
